Join the E-prescribing Revolution!
USF Health invites members of the HCMA to participate in our exciting national demonstration project, PaperFree Tampa Bay. We have now launched PaperFree Tampa Bay with a community pilot project that will give you the opportunity to convert your office to electronic prescribing free of charge.
Join the E-prescribing Revolution!
In the coming weeks, our first class of “e-health ambassadors” will be visiting local physicians’ offices to explain how e-prescribing can work in your office. Our ambassadors – second-year medical students trained in electronic prescribing – can help show you how e-prescribing works. You’ll get to see how it can increase medical office efficiency, improve safety and reduce costs and liability.
Our ambassadors will be visiting offices the weeks of June 22 and June 29, as well as July 12 and July 19. If you’d like to learn more, please contact Dr. Mathis Becker at mbecker1@health.usf.edu or Pam Martin at pmartin@health.usf.edu to arrange a visit.
As you may know, USF Health plans to apply for federal funding to expand PaperFree Tampa Bay to a 10-county region. Sign up now to be part of the first wave of physician leaders helping to make Tampa Bay an e-health role model for the rest of the nation.
