The Hillsborough County Medical Association (HCMA) Foundation's 12th Charity Golf Classic is set for October 30, 2008, at the Tournament Players Club of Tampa Bay.

The Charity Golf Classic is an event where our member physicians and local businesses will raise funds to support community projects. For the past twelve years, it has been my privilege to work within a network of physicians and local businesses dedicated to enriching our community.

Partnership with the Tampa Bay business community is a fundamental goal of the HCMA, the HCMA Alliance, and the HCMA Foundation; and is an essential component for success in an event of this magnitude. Due to the success of the Charity Golf Classic we have been proud to fund programs through such organization as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, MoreHealth, Judeo Christian Health Clinic, The Ophelia Project, St. Joseph’s Children’s Advocacy Center, and Self Reliance/Project Independence. . We have also been able to award scholarships through the HCMA Alliance Evelyn Shaver Scholarship fund.

Participation in the HCMA Foundation Charity Golf Classic will provide your organization a wonderful opportunity to show our physician members and the community your support of the HCMA Foundation’s philanthropic activities.
