The Hillsborough County Medical Association's Paint Your Heat Out, Tampa! Team convened for the 18th time on April 22nd. Each spring, thousands of volunteers and sponsors join together to paint the homes of low-income elderly homeowners in the City of Tampa. They donate hours, dollars, supplies, and enthusiasm.
These efforts add up to more than just a fresh coat of paint. Paint Your Heart Out, Tampa! improves the homeowners' property and renews their faith in community spirit. It beautifies our city neighborhoods and creates a sense of pride in the volunteers and sponsors who make it happen.
Founded in 1988, Paint You Heart Out, Tampa! began a partnership between city government, civic groups, business and volunteers that helps more than 100 senior homeowners in the City of Tampa care for their homes and property every year. Paint Your Heart Out, Tampa! is a program of the Tampa United Methodist Centers, Inc.
